This is just a little thing, but for those who read the blog on Sunday and had to create a blogger account to post a comment, thank you for persisting. For those who did not want to create an account, I have changed the setting to allow people to comment as "guests".

HI All; Sarah, I don't know if my last bog got thru, I was having problems with it on Sunday. I am very excitted about my new ministry for the homeless, no I aam not opening my own, I want to help the existing shelters who need so much help. I spent alot of time at Shepherds Heart this weekend and today. They are wonderful people, who are not just administering to the homeless but the poor and the lonely. They have just moved into a large new building near Mercy Hospitol. They feed both the stomach and the soul. They are now open during the day and have plans on expanding. They have many needs and thru the wonderful loving community of our church, I would like to try to help them. They aare adding rooms for homeless vets in the near future. We have done 3 dinners and I am hopeing to do one more on Dec. 17th. The Sunday before Christmas. What a wonderful gift to give the Christ Child, but our love and time. To help these people have a little spirit of Christmas. I will be working on this and you will all hear more about it! The more the Merrier!! Believe me, it is a gift you will always remember giving. We are also helping EECM , Jonathan Sewall is a wonderful and inspirational person and is very involved with EECM. Sorry I am preaching, but I feel so intense and fullfilled with this aid to the ministries. Anyone inteeerested in offering a vehicle which we can transport a few single mattresses and box springs to Shepherds Heart, either call me at 412 781 3228 or leave a message with Judy and I will get back to you. This would be so greatly appreciated!! Talk to you all soon. Ruth Fitzpatrick
